WHS art students recently entered artworks in the Crest Ridge Art Show. They did very well, earning eight awards! Earning top honors was Madeline James, an eighth grader at WHS. She won Best of Category ribbon and Best of Show trophy with her pastel painting of a rose. Johnny Outram (senior) and Sonja Brandt (8th) received first place ribbons. Rachel McCarty (8th) won a second place ribbon. Ashley Kanak (junior) and Shawna Gillespie (senior) won third place ribbons and Johnny Outram (senior) won a fourth place ribbon. Congratulations to these students and thank you for your hard work!
